Studio Circus is a young brand which only started a few years ago and although it is fairly new to the toy industry, the people behind it are not!  After working with many licenses and different companies over the years, they found it was time to take the next step and build their own brand, with their own designs.  Dave Elderenbosch is the creative brain behind Studio Circus, with Leonie Oehmen and Stinne Fruelund being his critics and commercial partners.

We first came across the brand at Nuremberg Toy Fair in 2019, where the toys were being exhibited by the manufacturer.  These beautiful wooden toys are made to the same high standards as jumini toys, by a responsible manufacturer, using FSC certified wood.  The range is design-led, with the emphasis on gender neutral pastels and a set of friendly safari animal characters.  The designer has also created a range of books and nursery décor featuring the familiar panda, bear, giraffe, elephant, hippo and deer characters.

“At Studio Circus we love animals, fun and nice colours. All these things are visible in our ranges. We make sure that our products are not only functional, but also safe and of an extremely high quality. As young children go through different stages in their development, it is our goal to make fun and educational toys and contribute to their personal growth. Our colourful designs appeal to a child’s imagination, which guarantees hours of playing fun”.

Over time we hope to extend the range, as it has proved to be really popular in both toy and gift shops.  The packaging is unlike the crisp white style of jumini, but customers have given great feedback on its shelf appeal!
